Winner of MBAV Design Excellence Awards BEST Kitchen for 2016
DDB Design was awarded this most prestigious prize at the September 2016 MBAV Awards. Recognised for the minimal lines of this very contemporary kitchen which features a six metre island bench made of Arabescato Marble .The design of this very central room in the house fulfills the brief of being a functional kitchen which acts as a reception area, a bar, a homework desk and a baking refacrtory table all as equally functional but designer at the same time.
In addition to the 4 metre cooktop bench there is a 5 metre galley style larder designed to hide behind powered sliding doors when closed creates as a hall way to the powder room and laundry .
